Hospitals and airports make me think of dead lovers and situations we run from,
Bus stations and railways, on the other hand, always make me feel like I'm going home
My favourite railway station is in a town in France, it's called Verdun
The longest train I saw passed through there
Buchanan Street bus station in Glasgow used to make me smile
I'd take the 1 a.m. through Hart Hill, Corstorphine, walk down the Royal Mile
The lights and tiles and sounds of airports tell a different story
